Pizzeria Classico is truly a find in historic Folsom. It's one of those places where, right from the doorstep, the welcoming staff make you feel like family. Cozy atmosphere, with its charming rustic décor, will be perfect for date nights, family outings, or catching up with friends. The pizza? Well, it is totally delicious-from each fresh taste interaction to that bit of crunchy-soft crust and just flooded with flavor. Whatever pizza, pasta or salad you order, it will be delicious and full of flavor. On this visit we enjoyed a large Chicken Alfredo/Belly Bomber. The pizza loaded with toppings and provided enough food for 4 adults plus a few slices to go. Note that parking can be a bit tricky, especially during weekends and evenings when this place gets bustling. But believe me, the food and experience are worth the effort. For a perfect slice in the heart of Folsom, Pizzeria Classico is not to be missed!
I don't usually do reviews, but feel I need to, as I am picky and seems there is always an issue lately when going out (food comes wrong, food is cold, food is good, but nothing to rave about, etc). I found this gem where it was literally perfection with every single item on our table! I'm surprised at some of the low rating reviews, as this place was excellent! It wasn't our first choice, as when we visited Folsom, we were disappointed to find out the places we wanted to go were all closed on Mondays. So we ended up here. No regrets!! While I do understand some reviews with staffing issues (was slow service), they were busting their behinds, and we had three employees come by to check on us who were all very kind! So, anyway, my parents split a salad with apples, blue cheese, nuts, vinaigrette, etc (don't remember the name). It was enough for all 4 of us to dig in and eat! First time EVER that I didn't have to ask for extra dressing on the side. Perfectly dressed! Sooooo good! I reluctantly ordered an Italian soda, as many from other places have not been just okay, and OMG!! It was so creamy and tasty. Delicious!! My family all tried a sip, and then went for more, so I had to put my foot down and take it away...lol. I ordered the fettuccine alfredo, my parents ordered spaghetti with meatballs to share (which the restaurant kindly split into two bowls), and my daughter got a child's pizza. The fettuccine was A-MAZING!! Fresh, made in-house, and came piping hot (as did all of our food). Not too rich...not too bland. Not full of garlic, which I can't eat. Just the basic ingredients it should have. And delicious!! Came with FOUR pieces of bread! And my daughter's pizza from the child's menu?? Oh my gosh...it was HUGE!! It looked like a medium pizza from a typical pizza place, and not those tiny flat, gross pizzas that are on many kid's menus. She couldn't even eat half of it. Tried some of the meatballs my parents had (and I don't really like meat), and WOW!! Again...sooooo good! I literally can't say a single negative thing about any of the food, and I tried it all! They do get busy, so plan ahead and go early. Yes, service was slow, but we weren't in any rush, and the kindness of the staff made it well worth it. I did feel bad for them, as they were really working hard. But whatever...we loved the food, the staff, and the corner booth that was different and round, with high backs, so it was totally private. Great job Pizzeria Classico! We will be there again.
Ambiance: No TVs to watch sports; which was nice! Plain old school pizzeria. Service: Excellent. From the Greeter to Server. Food: We got the large Supreme Classico. Very yummy and perfect amount of toppings. Loved the fact that the sauce was lite; without asking. That kept pizza from sliding around. This is the place to grab a pie!
My boyfriend and I took a trip to Folsom for my friend's wedding, and this pizza place was walking distance from the hotel. We went at a good time and the service was amazing! Eddie and Dezi were so friendly and provided good suggestions on what to order. We ordered the family special including garlic chips, a large pizza, and a large casserole salad. Everything was AMAZING!!!!! Fresh and tasted like authentic l, homemade food! If you're ever in the Folsom area check this place out! Does not disappoint! I'm glad we had pizza to take home with us!
My partner and I ordered a hot coffee and fettuccine alfredo with shrimp, and it was very delicious and filling! The server offered to split the pasta onto two plates for us, since we were sharing, and even the half portion each filled us up. The server was very friendly and attentive. The environment was comfortable and welcoming, and it wasn't as busy as we thought, even though we came on a weekend.
Omg this place is soooooo good! A hidden gem. The Caesar salad was very cold, filled with croutons, and the dressing had a great flavor. I had the "pops" pizza. So much flavor in the sauce. The crust was a medium thickness and not soggy at all. It had a slight crunch which is always nice. The place was empty which is normally a sign of how good the restaurant is. Well not this time. Although the inside looks dated, the food more than made up for the decor. The staff was so friendly and kind. You have to try this place.
If you're looking for a pizza place that gives you lots of ranch without asking this is pizza place for you! We had a group of 8 and the service was very fast. We were seated immediately in a large booth (good for plus size too). The food was decent I wouldn't say the best but it was good. The price was very reasonable we got the family meal which was a large one topping pizza, garlic or pesto chips, and a large salad. (Garlic chips are really like a thin small garlic cheese pizza but they are really good) Parking is right in front or on the street or if you are okay with a little walk it's down the street. Overall I would go back the pizza is good and the service is great! lots of ranch Coke products plus size friendly
